nothing much to report. just been reading, watching dvds, spending money. yesterday i finally went and used the two gift cards i got from work for all my "hard work" (read: for working 60-70 hour weeks from mid-May to the end of June). one of the gift cards was from target, and i ended up spending nearly four times the amount of the gift card. the other was for bookpeople, and i just went a little over, buying two y: the last man TPBs and a sarah vowell book.

let's see. i've also been learning how to burn dvds on slim. yesterday i rented a disc of soap, and i'm surprised that i didn't remember it all that well. i remember watching reruns of it when i was little, but i'm surprised that the only things i really remembered from the show were the theme song and the way the show ended every episode. also rented the first disc of the 4400 to see what that's all aboot. and i rented a couple of movies, most notably cold comfort farm, which my co-worker mary recommended to me. and i loved it. just a certain wackiness to it.

and i finally learned how to take and send photos with my new mobile. that's all, really, and giving more reasons for my ex to hate me. and being reclusive. that's all.
