anderson cooper said "kitty cats"

On Wednesday's edition of Anderson Cooper 360, one segment was about a law being proposed in Wisconsin that would allow the hunting of cats. It's aimed at letting people shoot cats not wearing collars in an effort to save the bird population, which proponents of the proposed law say is cut down by millions each year from feral cats killing birds.

Hmm ... cats hunt birds? There's a shocker. I would've never thought of that. What this sounds like is just lazy people looking for a lazy way out. I think people would much rather follow Bob Barker's advice and spay and neuter to help control the animal population. It just sounds like a bullshit law that shouldn't get passed.

I can't really express myself very clearly on this subject, especially considering that I live nowhere near Wisconsin. So maybe try visiting Don't Shoot the Cat and find out more about this bullshit.
