shannon or vampires?

so i was looking up stuff on the new shannon doherty show, love inc., while having nothing to do at work, and i discovered that one of her co-stars is ion overman. ion used to come out on the ill-fated port charles, which started off as a spin-off of general hospital and ended up turning into a really bad supernatural (mostly vampire) daytime soap. it was pretty horrible. so ion's character was named gabby. she was a nurse at GH. that is, of course, until that fateful day that she was seduced by caleb and turned into a vampire. of course, the vampires on GH were sucky (no pun intended). they could walk around in the daylight. nothing really affected them. and then there was this convoluted storyline about a cure to the vampirism. and of course, there was the lame attempt to buffy-up the show by making the character lucy coe into a vampire slayer, and her ghost/angel cousin Rafe (who i'm still not sure how he went from being a ghost/angel to becoming human again) was also a vampire slayer. see! doesn't that sound like a show that deserved to be canceled! what's even sadder is that i watched enough of it to write this post. sigh ...
