OK, I know that the subject line is blasphemous, but I only quarter-mean it. It's just that during the summer, well, TV kinda sucks. Like right now, I have it on VH1, waiting for Best Week Ever to come on (although I don't know what time it will come on), because I haven't seen it in a couple of weeks, but instead I get this crappy new show called StripSearch about guys trying to become strippers. It's sad. It's right up there with Mr. Romance, but it seems a bit less gay. But there's only been one episode shown, because it seems like I've seen this fuckign episode about 20 times already since Wednesday, so I'm sure the gay factor will go increasingly up, and I'm sure that won't be the only thing going up (get it, because I'm sure lots of gay guys will be watching the show, too ... OK, nevermind).
So for those of you who read my not-so-nice post last night/this morning, I apologize. It was totally unneccesary for me to rant on and on about someone I don't even know because they did something that pissed me off profusely. For those of you who didn't read it, please don't ask about it; that's why it was deleted.
As for my plans for today, they include going to Hastings and Half Price in search of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenence by Robert Pirsig. I read this book in high school, but I don't really remember it because, well, who really remembers anything they read in high school, right? But it seems like an appropriate book for me to read right now since I'm at a crossroads in my career. And my life. Maybe it'll help. I also plan on going around town again and taking pics of the dumpsters that my ghetto camera lost yesterday. Besides that, I don't know what I'm doing. I really want to go see the Meat Purveyors tonight, but I don't want to pay the Continental Club prices. And I don't feel like going to the show by myself. Usually I don't mind, but for some reason, I really don't feel like going to a show by myself tonight. Meh. Oh well. If I find someone to go with, then I'll go. If not, then I won't. I got plenty to do aroudn my apt, anyway. OK, not really, hence the going to Hastings and Half Price. OOH, maybe I'll find the new Aimee Mann. Wait, I forgot; Hastings selection in music fucking sucks. Damn. Oh, I know, I'll go to Comic Relief and get some comics. Haven't bought any in about a month.
OK, I'm gonna go hop in the shower and then I'll be off to start my day. If you wanna hang later tonight, drop me a line or call.
