hookers aren't always a good thing

So according to a bit on Page Six in the New York Post, Brett Ratner, the latest director in line for X-Men 3, a mutant hooker is being written into the movie. She will apparently secrete a pheromone that helps in her seducing of men.

Now, any X-fan knows that kind of sounds like Stacy X, a character that started out OK in the pages of Uncanny X-Men, until Chuck Austen came on-board and made her go ga-ga for Archangel, including leaving a video for him of her jumping rope in the nude when she left the team. Now, what doesn't sound like Stacy is that this new movie character is supposed to be "unbelievably hot and sexy," where as Stacy had snake-like skin. I don't know. See Stacy below.

If Stacy were getting introduced into the movie world, I would be a little upset because there are other, older characters that deserve to be seen (i.e. Kitty Pryde, Colossus, Jubilee, Siryn, Dazzler, Nightcrawler, Northstar). But, eh, who cares. I just need something to bitch about.

Apparently Matthew Vaughn, the director in line for X-Men 3 before he quit and Ratner took over, wanted to use Stacy X, but Fox wouldn't let him. Read it here.
