i haven't done that much running since i pretended to be in a benny hill sketch

so here's my update. friday was a good day, but it had some not-so-good moments. first the good. i don't have to be back at the ad agency until sept. 1. work went well at the night job. partied with my co's after work. laid on joolie's front lawn with jo and natalie and amy and joolie. played much air hockey. much fun was had. left aroudn 12-ish, and i returned a little after when i drunkenly remembered that i forgot my man-bag at joolie's. after that, i decided i was just drunk enough to drop by bobby's party. and that's when the bad started. i was already exceedingly drunk when i decided to go to bobby's. i should've gone home. what resulted was me going to said party, doing a quick scan for the man, not finding him, and walking out. only i was so drunk, i stumbled down the wrong street to my car, making me believe in my drunkenness that my car had been stolen. so anyway, for some reason i thought it would be a good idea to wander the streets. i called rebecca and she tried to get me to go to her friend dustin's house, but i decided i'd stumble back to the direction of bobby's house to see if i could find my car. which i did. so i got in and drove home. it was then about 3 a.m.

saturday was fun. i went to austin books and got my weekly fix. afterwards i hung out with leanne. we went for a late lunch at kerby lane, which i haven't been for several years since i got such bad service that i dined and dashed. and the service wasn't any better this time. and the food didn't agree with me at all. after that, we went to half price, then to whole foods, then to i luv video. after picking up her guy, we went to alamo on lamar and saw broken flowers, which was pretty good, but would've been better if the old guy sitting next to us wasn't laughing awkwardly at inappropriate moments. yeah. then we came back to my place and saw part of this news-doc on msnbc about prostitutes in l.a. yeah.

so now it's sunday. doing laundry. and i never missed not having a washing machine in my apartment so much. i hate having to walk to a laundry room to do my laundry and make awkward small talk with neighbors. gah. and having to save quarters. meh. ok, that's all for now. tomorrow, i start house-sitting for lyman for about two weeks. where there will be much petting of his three cats. yay. ok, now to go check on my laundry. gah.
