So I mention in last night's post about this show called Austin City Lights on Austin Public Access Ch. 10. Well, I did some Googling, and I found an article from the Austin Chronicle from 2001 that labels the show "Best Public Access Show from Another Dimension." Scroll down about half-way to read the very, dead on description of the show, along with a picture of "Flash" Jordan, her mother "Pirate Lady," and of course the weird Elvis guy. I think the article nails it when they say "many a synapse among regular public access viewers was permanently fried."
So yeah, I think I'll be watching this show every week after Gilmore Girls.
CAR UPDATE, 1:30 p.m.:
Got my car back today. Most of the repairs (including rebuilding my fucking ignition and making new keys) were covered by my warrenty, which Red Simon Ford in San Marcos told me was no longer valid. Even more reason to hate the fucking dealership even though I don't like in San Marcos anymore. Now I will thoroughly be in love with Leif Johnson Ford for the great service I received from them. But yeah, even though most repairs were covered by the warrenty, I still had to pay quite a bit of money for the repairs that weren't covered. Gah. But I have Zooey back and don't have to miss another day of work. Yay?
