Saturday observations

  • I lost my precious sunglasses (the red ones I'm wearing in my profile photo) the other day, I think at Bill Hanrahan's house, but I'm not sure. In other words, they are gone. I loved those sunglasses. They have lasted me nearly 10 years, and they were only some cheapo dollar store sunglasses, as well. But they were great. So I lamented them today by going to Big Lots and Dollar Tree and spending $10.81 on four pairs of new, cheap sunglasses that will never fill the void of my precious red ones, but hey, they'll block the sun from my hungover eyes.
  • People rarely jog correctly. Or maybe it's just the hot runner guys I oggle that don't jog correctly. And the only reason I know they don't is because I took classes on both jogging and fitness walking while in college (and dropped both because they were too early in the morning for me). But I see these hot guys running by, and they are hot, but I know they aren't getting as good a workout from their jog as they think they are. Sad, really.
  • I've been to the movies, written a review for said movie, been sunglasses' shopping, and am about to make something to eat. I think this is the most productive Saturday I've ever had that didn't involve moving. And there's still Hilary's party tonight. And there's still comic books reviews for me to write. I better slow it down; I might be too productive today and have nothing to do tomorrow or Monday.
