- Watched the rest of the Martian Chronicles.
- Had some pre-noon drinks (hey, it's vacation!).
- Ate my Chinese leftovers (shrimp lo mein tastes even better the day after).
- Watching Friday's General Hospital (No, Emily! Don't sleep with Sonny! He's so old!).
- Rented and watched Myra Breckinridge (a separate post later for how horrible that was), A Dirty Shame, and some Deep Space Nine.
- Bought and watched some of Batman: The Animated Series Volume 1.
- Drank myself into a stupor.
- Took a vicodin and went to sleep.

I had no idea that they made the Martian Chronicles!! That's one of my favorite Bradbury books.
yeah, I was surprised about it as well, as I love the book, too. the movie (it was made for TV) veers a little away from the book in some parts, but it's still good. it's worth it for the music. and rock hudson. heh.
