Yesterday, the AP reported that Genie Francis (aka Mrs. Cmr. Will Riker) will be returning to her role as Laura Spencer (albeit for a short period) on General Hospital in October. Unfortunately, they also said she originated the role, which is false. Genie was actually the second Laura Vining Webber Baldwin Spencer. The first Laura was Stacey Baldwin, who played the role for about two years until being replaced by Genie. So there.
