here's a new feature i'll be starting up. it may or may not be regular. it may just be when i feel the whim or whim-like.
at my job, i deal with a lot of translations, and often i run across words that, when read in english take on a funnier appeal. one such word is désabonnement. it's the french word for unsubscribe. i think it should mean something else in english. see if you can figure out my meaning via context clues from the following example:
"I was making out with this really hot guy, and it seemed like we were going to do it. But then Golden Girls came on the TV (which was on mute) and I suffered désabonnement."
