angel dust, switchblades, sexually perverse photography involving tennis rackets

long day at work. here are some blurts.

c and x shouldn't be next to each other on keyboards (teclados, tangentbords, whatever you call them in your country). i inadvertantly came on to hot gig today because of this. there was something going kerfluey in one of the e-mails he was working on, and i didn't know how to explain what was on my screen, so i IMed him to come over for a sec, only i typed "can you come over for a sex?" and then quickly corrected myself, and he was smiling when he walked over, obviously laughing at my mistake. i told velouria (that's the new alias for my smoking friend; if you get the reference, i just might love you) about it later and said "i'd say it was a fruedian slip, but it wasn't". maybe my fingers are betraying me.

and earlier i had run into him at whole foods (not on purpose). and i was hangry. it was supposed to be a simple in-and-out with no human interaction except with the cashier. but we almost literally ran into each other getting in line, and then he got in line behind me, and i just kinda ignored him, even after he'd said hi to me and i grunted back. i was going to apologize to him back at work, but it got busy and blah blah blah. i'll do it tomorrow.

gnomi malone will be made this weekend. more than likely sunday. now i need to see if i can find some screencaps of the censored broadcast version of showgirls so i can model gnomi after such.

i said "frak" at work so many times today i lost count.

when you have to constantly restart your computer to make a stupid application work, it's best to have a second computer (a notebook PC works well) so you can keep your productivity going. especially in a deadline situation. i learned that today. and now i don't want to give the notebook back to my boss. but then that might mean more work. maybe i will give it back.

the big sale at austin books starts tomorrow, and i still haven't bought my new comics for this week, let alone make my list of back issues i need to buy. ok, so i have a short list of birds of prey and starman issues i need, but that's just around 10. note to self: look up which back issues i need of books of magic, hellblazer, fables (i know that's just one issue), catwoman, and ex machina.
