maybe it pays to be superstitious. two good things happened at work today. one, we found out that this asshole we have to deal with on one of the accounts is quitting and his last day is friday. that was a big woo-fucking-hoo because the guy was an uber-asshole. two, i got one of the assigned parking spaces that they whore out for a month to three people who are "damn hard workers". this will increase my laziness. (we all know the only exercise i get is walking up and down stairs, so parking on the third level of the parking garage was like cardio for me.)
so of course i started dreading that something bad would happen. and it may or may not have. i was supposed to get my new messenger bag via UPS today. i anticipated it getting delivered while i was at work. when i got home, i saw no UPS note on my door saying my package was delivered and is in the apt. office. i get online and check the tracking, and, yup, there it is. delivered at 4:28 p.m. today. signed by portugal. why the fuck did it take an entire country to sign for my package? and why was i not left a note saying where the fuck my package is?
grrrr.
now tomorrow i have to call the apt. office and see if they accepted it. which they probably did.
blah.
