once a priest...

i've been meaning to write about this for a while, but i haven't.

one life to live celebrates its 10,000th episode later this month, and they're doing it with a funeral for the long-time character asa buchanan. and a lot of actors that used to be on the show are coming back.

like nathan fillion. for those of you reading my blog, you probably know him best as capt. mal reynolds from firefly/serenity or caleb, the evil pastor from buffy (or lesser as the husband of the girl of two guys, a girl, and a pizza place).

but here's the funny part. fillion's character on OLTL, joey buchanan, which he played from '94 to '97, well, that character went on to become a priest in his latest recast back in '03, around the same time fillion was playing caleb.

for the hope of OLTL, i certainly hope fillion doesn't bring any part of caleb back to joey. that would be ... wrong?
