work tease

the only thing worse than a cock tease is a work tease.

remember that contract copy editing job i mentioned on friday? remember the part about asking when i could go in for an interview? well, my options were monday or today. in my response, i said today would be better for me.

i never heard back from them. so i replied again this afternoon asking if they'd received my previous reply. still no response.

this probably wouldn't upset me so much except that it's kind of unprofessional. you don't e-mail someone, ask them to answer some questions, one of which is if they could come in for an interview on a certain day, and then just blow them off. maybe they didn't like my answers to the questions they asked, but still, considering there was a time frame involved, it's really unprofessional. and now if they do get back to me, and still want me to come in for an interview, well, they have certain marks against them for this. it's just...wrong.

gah.
