just when you thought ringtones had nowhere else to go ...

Pitchfork reports of a new service, called Bliptones, that is offering "indie-only" ringtones. I was skeptical when reading this, but ... then I saw that they actually had ringtones from the Geraldine Fibbers, bratmobile, Bikini Kill, The Bangs, Quixotic, Low, and Neil Hamburger, to name a few. Neil Hamburger! I think I know where I'll be getting my next ringtone, if I can bare to get rid of my beloved current ringtone of the Laverne & Shirley theme song. We'll see, but at least I know I have some obscure options.
