So I'm still lagging in the recaps for shows that I promised last Friday. I'll get to it sometime this week, I swear. And instead of full-blown reviews, you'll probably just be getting caplets and some choice quotes, since by now there's so many to do. So yeah.
The only thing I will comment on is how joyful I am that Tamara Tunie has finally been made a cast regular on Law & Order: SVU. She's been playing Medical Examiner Warner for the past five years in a guest star status, so it was about time she got the promotion. Even B.D. Wong, who plays head-shirnker Dr. George Huang got regular cast status after less than two years of guesting.
I've been a fan of Tunie since she took on the role of sassie lawyer Jessica Griffin on As The World Turns back in '87. Other TV credits she has include recurring roles on 24 and NYPD Blue, and playing a lesbian on an episode of Sex and The City (you know, the one where Charlotte is a fakebian). Her big screen role include narrating one of my favorite movies, Eve's Bayou, as well as roles in Wall Street and The Devil's Advocate.
So yeah. That's all on the TV front for now. I'm also working on collecting data for a comparison of the actresses that played Carly on General Hospital, including the incoming Laura Wright. But that's still a ways away. So yeah. That's all for now. Go away now.
