awake

So I woke up today about 7:45 a.m. I tossed and turned for a couple of minutes and then got up. I went to turn the coffee maker on when I remembered that it was broken and that I need a new one. So I headed to the bathroom to take a shower. Right as I was about to turn the water on, I remembered something. I remembered that we have today off at work. So I tried to go back to sleep, but I was wide awake. Gah. So I got up again and mulled around the apartment, replied to some e-mails, read some comic books, watched a little TV. Then I thought I'd try the sleep thing again. And right when I thought I was drifting off, what sounded like a group of drunks started hooting and hollering somewhere near my bedroom window. At 10:30 in the fucking morning! Grrr. So I finally got up, saw the time, and realized The Price is Right was still on. So I saw the Showcase Showdown, which I haven't seen in a long time, although I was hoping I'd get to see Plinko. Sigh. So here I am now, watching The Young and the Restless. And wanting some coffee. Maybe I'll go to Target and buy a new coffee maker. I got nothing else to do today. Gah.
