Entertain me

So I thought I'd list the movies I want to see at the Alamo soon because if I don't post it, I'll forget all about it, natch. So here goes.

I'll probably miss this one (which is tomorrow) because I plan on getting really drunk tonight and not waking up or getting out of bed (except to pee) before noon. Oh well. I'll just rent it.

This looks interesting enough. I saw the preview (I think) when LeAnne, Mark, and I went to see Thank You For Smoking. It looks interesting in a sad kinda way. I dunno.

Hedwig & The Angry Inch Sing-along

I really wanna go to this (because the Buffy sing-along was also fun), but it might get me too depressed because I saw this for the first time with Dar not too long ago and he read me some Plato or Socrates or something afterwards. Meh.

The Sinus Show: Showgirls

It's the movie the Sinus guys said they'd never do because, well, it's way too easy to mock this movie. And it's one of my faves. I can't wait to see what the Sinus guys do for this. I'm already there ...

American Beer
Downtown, 7 p.m., Monday, May 15, and 9:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 16
It's a doc about guys that travel the country going to breweries, and they'll be serving "tasting portions" of all the beers they drink in the film when they drink them. It's really almost the height of too-muchery.

Buffy Sing-along
Downtown, 9:45 p.m., Tuesdays, May 23, 30
Just because I want to see it again, but I may not go because it might remind me of Dar too much. I'll see how I feel about it by then. I might be over the whole depressing breakup stuff by then. Or not. Bleh.
