What are you doing this weekend?

I wasn't going to post about this because Joolie already did a good post about it ... but I still wanna! Wah!

But yeah, the Blanton Museum is having it's 24-hour Extremely Grand Opening starting at 9 p.m., Saturday. That's tomorrow! TOMORROW! (Soory, didn't mean to yell. Heh.)

I'm really excited about this, for some odd reason. When I was the entertainment editor for the school paper at SWT, I always kinda pushed my reporters to come up to Austin and review the exhibits the Blanton (and other places) had up. And I remember the woman I dealt with at the Blanton to get images of the pieces in the reviews was always really nifty.

Anyway. I totally wanna do the Iron-on T-shirts thing, and of course see Pong (which I haven't seen in a really long time, since before Larry was a daddy [a real daddy, not the leather kind]). Improv for Insomniacs sounds neat-o. It's at midnight and 3 a.m. (I think the one at 3 a.m. should be a little better, and more appropriate). The Creation Station at 5 a.m. also intrigues me.

Anyway. That's what I'll be doing this weekend. And you should, too. If you're in Austin. If not, then you should wish that you were.
