So on last night's Gilmore Girls, Rory (who's the editor in chief of the Yale school newspaper) proclaims that she is done with layout, but if you look closely at the computer screen she was working on, it looked more like she was editing a story in a word processor program and not doing layout in a design program. I know, I know, only I could be that nit-picky, but come on! Anyone in the newspaper biz (or that used to be in the newspaper biz like me) knows that layout = design. Meh.
And in other news, the cult (aka my co-workers) came back from their daily group cult sacrifice (aka their group lunch) and one of them was saying (and rather loudly), "Oh, it's so hot outside." Really?!?! Hotter than yesterday? Today, which currently it's 87° Fahrenheit, where as yesterday it was damn near 100-fucking-° Fahrenheit? Why didn't you make that proclamation yesterday, when it in fact would've been true. Stupid git. Gah.
