decisions, decisions

So I'm wondering if I want to make another attempt at trying to see live music goodness after my failed attempt to see Cat Scientist due to my own inanity. But if I do make said new attempt, I have a decision to make because there are two shows I'd want to go to on the same night, said night being Wednesday (as in the day after tomorrow).

While perusing showlistaustin, I saw said shows. One would be Cue, Benko, and Oh Beast! at Chain Drive. The other would be Baby Jessicas at Beerland. The Chain Drive show is free; the Beerland show would more than likely have a cover. Not having sound at work (and having a shitty computer at home), I haven't been able to hear any of these bands, but they all sound wonderfully brilliant in my head. Hello! Benko has a vibrophonist! Someone in Cue plays glockenspiel! Glockenspiel!!!

Now, glockenspiel should be enough to get me to a show. But then, there's Baby Jessicas, which are billed as a Heathers tribute band. To those of you reading this who do not know me that well, well, if you knew me well you would know that Heathers is one of my most (if not my) favoritest movie of all time. So a band that was created solely for the purpose of an upcoming local production called I Love My Dead Gay Son: The Musical!, plays music inspired by Heathers, and plays '80s covers, well, that should also be enough to get me to a show.

Gah. So I can rack my mind trying to decide which show to go to, or I can just stay home and enjoy my new comics, seeing as how this would all take place on Wednesday and all. Like I said ... decisions, decisions. Gah.
