Why I hate the Statesman, Reason #2,099

So I've started to wonder if the web side of the Statesman has a copy editor, because it sure as hell doesn't seem that way. There was that stupid as hell headline Wednesday, and today, there's this headline:

And "Storms" isn't the name of anyone in the article (like I secretly hoped); it's refering to all the storms the city has been experiencing lately. Gah.

Then a bit below, there's this headline:
badhed2
Yeah, it doesn't make a lick of sense until you click on the link and see that it's a sports article, which then makes sense. But seeing as how this is the home page and with a bunch of news articles and noticibly not in the sports section of the home page, that maybe it should be labeled as "sports" or include "basketball" so as to not confuse.

Seems like I've been saying "oy" a lot lately, but I'll go ahead and say it anyway. Oy.
