So I've been having all these ideas running through my head lately for creative projects (all of which will never come to fruition because I'm lame and lazy and frightened and blah blah blah). Here are some for you to revel in my insanity.
A movie about masochists that work in the service industry: Doesn't that just make sense? It would follow several people who work in different service jobs. I'm thinking one will be a call-center-type customer relations person. Maybe one will work at a fast food drive-thru. I haven't thought of any others. I guess the point to the movie would be trying to figure out if these people are inept at their jobs (you know, to get punished) on purpose or not. Meh.
A zombie ghost movie: Which, why hasn't one of these been made ever? So my idea here would be to have a town be attacked by zombies and simultaneously haunted by the ghosts of the zombies. The point to this movie would probably be to figure out if the ghosts are trying to help the townspeople or feed their reanimated corpses. And, for some reason, I see this being British. Because they're funnier. Heh.
A comic about a wizard driven administration: I pick up a lot of funny phrases from proofing and reading stuff at work (since our clients are all high-technology people and such). Lately I've been writing these phrases down so I can draw or come up with some sort of idea about the phrase (it all started with me reading "zombie botnet" and drawing a zombie wearing a bonnet; I really should post that sometime). This week, I read "wizard driven administration". So I started thinking about a comic book, where the president of the United States is a wizard. I can't decide if it would be like a regular looking politician who just happens to be a wizard (and recruits wizards into his cabinet) or if he would be more a stereotypical wizard (ala Dumbledore).
Anyway. So that's what I have so far. More soon.
