fucking bogus

last weekend i bought some rechargable batteries for my digicam, that way i wouldn't have to constantly be buying more and more batteries that, while dead to the digicam, still have juice to run, say, a discman or remote control. anyway. so i was finally going to take some photos today of the insanity that is my old eBay habit (having today received five packages in the mail, totaling to about 100 comics, and one package annoyed me much because the stuffing was shredder stuff, so i have this huge mess on my carpet now, with no vacuum to clean it up).

anyway. as i turned on my digicam, my little screen came up white, which i thought was odd. (oh yeah, by the way, i was already having problems with the digicam. for some reason, on the display, the last couple of times i'd used it, the screen was producing this sort of wave that obscured my view of what i was trying to steal the soul from, but the pic would turn out fine.) so i tried taking several photos blindly, then see how they turn out when i stick the memory stick into slim.

well, the photos didn't turn out. all i got were thumbnails of nothing. so i think my digicam is fried. that's fine with me; i've been thinking of getting a new one for a long time; this current one was a half-assed attempt by my father to try and buy me over with something shiny (it didn't work when i was a kid, and it certainly didn't work that time.)

so, instead of spending money to fix this one, i think i'm just gonna by a new one. anyone got a digicam they like that they would like to recommend? comment away.
