OK, so I know Joss Whedon is all like, always trying to keep people that he likes on his shows. He did it with Cordy (who tried out for Buffy) and Kendra (who tried out for Cordie) and Harmony (who also tried out for Buffy) and Darla (who tried out for Buffy).
But Ryan Murphy! Only he could/would keep April Tuna around. See, April just made an uncredited guest spot on this week's episode of Nip/Tuck (which I'm just watching right now) as some random scientologist. But, April Tuna! Come on. She's one of the reasons I watching Popular. Well, her and Mary Cherry and Cherry Cherry. And Principal Calvin Krupps. And Carmen Ferrara. And Nicole Julian. And Adam, the Manazon.
Anyone who didn't watch Popular needs to rent it. At least one disc. And get hooked. I mean, if not for Mary Cherry (and how she carries around a vile of ebola for when you need to lose 50 pounds in 50 seconds), then for how Cherry Cherry married Erik Estrada (who played himself) or the first season finale where the whole episode centered on season-finale cliches and there was a running checklist on the bottom of the screen for each cliche they fullfilled.
Anyway. The point of this was April Tuna doing a bit part on Nip/Tuck. Ryan Murphy, I salute you.
