radioactive shopper

i think i was bitten by a radioactive consumer bug, because i shopped up a storm today.

ok, so it was mostly dvds. i went out in search of the shock treatment dvd (which i finally found at best buy in the horror section ... which makes little sense ... it's a musical, and it mocks television and the people it turns into stars), but ended up also buying seasons four and six of buffy, the complete (read: kinda box set) of strangers with candy, season one of the venture bros., and soylent green (which, after watching for the first time after hitting puberty, caused me to get a little crush on charlton heston ... i was a sick, sick young man).

then, i finally did some long-overdue shoe shopping. seriously. i haven't bought shoes since 1999. and forgotten what size i wore. but now i know i wear a size 8. and that i'd forgotten how comfy and good a pair of all stars feel.

and now i will retire to a night of dvd watching. have a good one.
