were you raised in a barn?

i've about had it up to here (pointing about a foot above my head) with our new neighbors at work. they took over what used to be one of our call centers, and ever since the new guys moved in, let's just say that the bathrooms have been a bit on the disgusting side.

it's not just the men's room, either; there's been some pretty grody comments about stuff being found in the women's bathroom.

but back to the men's bathroom. today, i found puddles of urine under the urinals (unless the cleaning staff has started mopping midday with some new, urine-yellow colored cleaning liquid). i partially stepped in one of the puddles, saw what it was, then walked out of there faster than i ever had and used one of the bathrooms downstairs. this was not the first time, either. a couple of week's ago, i saw some urine on the top of one of the urinals, much like this picture by st. murse. not to mention some things i'd rather not see in a urinal. and the smattering of black and curlies throughout the bathroom, with a large prevalence at the sinks.

seriously. i'm exclusively using the downstairs bathrooms from now on at work. at least the people on the first floor were apparently potty trained.
