1. if you're homeless, and you're going to ask someone to spare some spare change, don't do it while you're smoking a joint. or at the very least, don't ask me.
2. i apparently have a familiar face. tonight on gay.com, some guy IMed me thinking i was the lone hispanic from friday night lights, which i just don't see. unless the gay that IMed me thinks all spics look the same. also, when i got to beerland tonight, the doorguy asked me, thinking he knew me, "did you cut your hair?" technically, i had, but i responded, "well, it's been like this for a while", thinking he we referring to my driver's license photo, which he wasn't. he responded, "oh, sorry, you looked like a regular." while i at one point was a regular at beerland, that comment made me a little sad.
3. i have now added a number 3 to asians i find attractive. tonight, it was this muscular, well tatted rocker looking guy at beerland. i wanted to assault him when i saw him go to the bathroom. but i think he met a girl there. so boo. it'll just have to stay in my head.
4. no one but me should do "here i go again" by whitesnake at rock'n'roll karaoke at beerland. it's just wrong. especially when you're scratching your throat throughout the whole song. at least i dry hump the wall when i do it.
5. the karaoke selection at beerland is exactly the same as when i was a regular there back in '05. they need some new songs added to the repertoire. i suggest "hero takes a fall" and "in your room" by the bangles and all of hedwig and the angry inch. i'd sing the shit out of all of that.
6. i miss going to karaoke at beerland regularly. but i also don't like going there by myself. well, now. when i went there all the time, it was a different atmosphere. there were a ton of regulars and i was usually good about striking up a conversation with someone or vice versa. the last couple of times i've gone, it was weird. and i only recognized one person from back when i used to go all the time. and it makes me sadder because i'd like to go there with a bunch of my friends, but most of my friends have 9-to-5-ish jobs, which makes going out and drinking late on a monday night not so good. blah.
7. i REALLY need to give up on the guy i'm currently crushing on. he's made it clear that he just wants to be friends, but i don't. i should just drop him.
8. i miss working.

Bud & I will go....we've been a couple of times and it was fun for sure....just let us know when you want to go...perhaps even Z_bill will go with twenycharacters....which is always a good show when he does Queen's "Somebody to Love" or Stones' Paint it Black....
