i think this post's mostly filler. (pleases, someone *coughalisoncouch* get that reference.)

so while i'm still working on other posts that are taking longer to write then they should, i thought i'd list some of the drafts that i just sent off to the server farm in the sky.

1. a post about how i used to go to san antonio a lot in '98-'00 and all the hanging that went on at jim's (the diner). at first, it seemed like a good idea, recanting old tales, but then i realized i could really only remember one jim's story, and it was the hick 'ho story, but i couldn't remember which jim's it was at, after which show it took place, and if my sister was with us or not. then i also realized that i couldn't remember many people's names from back then. so, yeah, gone.

2. a getting-things-off-my-chest post. yeah, it ended up being waaaaaaaaaay to confessional, and halfway through writing it, i realized no one in the world needs to know that much about me. and i also realized that what was bothering wasn't what i was writing about, but something completely different. so, deleted.

3. a post about how i only go to gay bars once a year to remind myself why i hate gay bars. i think i've written about it before, but i'm too lazy to search for the post. then, also, what more is there to say beyond i only go to gay bars once a year to remind myself why i don't go to gay bars. and that going to chain drive on wednesdays to check out the live bands doesn't count. if it had been in quark, i would totally ctrl alt shift k the post; but it's not, so delete.

there were a couple of others, but they don't even deserve to be mentioned in this post. so they're not. eat it.
