scared. to. drive.

i've had two almost crashes today. TWO, PEOPLE!

the first was on guadalupe trying to turn left onto 38th. the car in front of my was zigging and zagging out of the lane, then made a complete stop when the light was clearly protected left green signal. since they made an abrupt stop, so did i. my heart was pounding in my chest, and i had to wonder if, even though it was only 1 p.m., the person driving the car in front of me was already drunk.

second encounter was around 3 p.m., and i was on 38th trying to make my way to h-e-b. there was this car in front of me with a large, marmaduke-ish dog trying to get the driver's attention. and it did. causing the car to abruptly stop. which caused me to abruptly stop and actually get up on the curb a little bit. yeah. so, me avoidy of driving for the next couple of days.
