hiatusy

sorry about the lack of posting, lately. i've been in the throws of preparing my body for the vagina-like punishment it's enduring this week due to sxsw. so i'm taking some time off from blogging (read: until probably next week or this weekend if i get a chance).

here are the highlights before going on my own little writer's strike (my liver's going on strike next week):

• lack of sleep
• overdrinking
• overthinking
• mad at michael
• i hate riding the bus at night (while a little drunk)
  
• had an interview yesterday at the state agency i temped for a couple of years back; i don't believe i'll be getting said position, but i'll know for sure on friday, and can drink accordingly
• kinda got headhunted from a former place of employment; said i'd think about it, but i'm not really, so much, because it would probably be a huge step back, career-wise
  
• may have a one-week contract at an interactive agency next week that a former co-worker works at now; it's web QA, so it's something i'm overly familiar with
• sxsw highlights from wednesday: saw octopus project, stanley roy and the pig fuckers, and a bunch of other random bands that sounded good, but i don't know their names; thankfully, there's showlistaustin, which i'll probably reference in the next couple of days to get said bands names
• hopeful sxsw highlights for today: see the raveonettes, see the donnas, actually get to a free show while there's still free booze
