I hope you are all enjoying yourselves in our little town. I think I speak for most residents when I say that I hope you have a great time. Make sure to hit Jo's for some coffee and as many live music venues as you can squeeze in and get in some quality time on the lakes and rivers.

However, on Sunday night/Monday morning. Get the fuck out. Don't get any grand ideas about moving here. We're full! The reason this town is still cool is because all of you have not decided to move here yet. We like you, but only in small increments (sxsw, acl, and thats really about it).

So, again, thanks for coming, enjoy yourselves, then leave.

in other news, i met a cool guy at chain drive yesterday during their sxsw day show. he originally bummed a cigarette from me, then we started talking about music and tv and writing, and it turns out he's currently a delivery driver and writer. sound familiar? anyway. we ended up trading numbers before i left. and he's probably straight. leanne, amy, and mark tried to convince me he was gay. but considering how chain drive gets overrun by breeders during live music shows, yeah, he's probably straight. now let's see if he gives me a call, ever.
